Long time no see ...

2012-05-09 06:02

Feels like an eternity that something happened on this site but for that there's two new songs.

Video ThumbnailWho doesn't know and love it, the Airwolf theme? Definitively a TV highlight in the 80s and 90s where lots of us (in front of the tube) were growing up. Not really an ambitious project but a nice shenanigan with the Massive Synth from Native Instruments.

Video ThumbnailAs a second on todays menu there's a track that has been worked on rather seriously. A Dance/Electronic Remix from Dark Dust's song "Mah Way". It was quite a ride from the pure Acapella-Track to the finished song but I'm more than satisfied with the finished product.

Website Update

The existing framework behind the website has now been updated after more than a year which contributes to it's speed, security and reliability. Furthermore it fixes problems with Lightbox while using Internet Explorer 9. Lightbox is part of the framework and handles the display respectively playback of images, videos and music.

Though the far more interesting news would be that the official forum is now online and accessible at http://www.codedreality.de/forum/. There're still minor graphical fixes and tests to do but that shouldn't interfere wit the regular usage of it.

YouTube: "300,000 Volts (Filosound)"

Video ThumbnailAn older electro track of mine which I think is worthy of seeing the light of day.

After that there are two remixes on my list which are "Greatest American Hero" (Christopher Cross) and Public Enemys "Pump".

YouTube: "Eminem - Ass Like That (Filosound Remix)"

2011-03-13 22:14

Video ThumbnailOldskool Hip-Hop remix of Eminem's "Ass Like That". I recommend to watch this in at least 480p for better sound quality (HD now available as well). Furthermore this remix, just like the previous, is now available for downloading as MP3 from the Music page.

YouTube: "Street Fighter IV - Continue/Revival/Gameover Medley (Filsound Remix)"

2011-03-10 15:50

Video ThumbnailA quick remix of the Continue, Revival and Game Over medleys from Street Fighter IV / Super Street Fighter IV. I could have certainly put more effort into this but as a training project for Sony Vegas 10 it's acceptable.

YouTube: "SCHMOYOHO accent on the YO (Extended Mix)"

2011-02-06 17:42

Video ThumbnailAn extended mix of the last part from the video: Obama Sings to the Shawties (replay extended)

You can only hope they will will produce a full-length iTunes version of this in the near future.

tl_files/images/bullet_green.gif Changed: DirectX 9 is now used as the default graphics API which means it's now fully compatible with the the Aero-Scheme of Windows Vista and Windows 7
tl_files/images/bullet_green.gif Added: The game now has offical support for 64-Bit systems
tl_files/images/bullet_green.gif Fixed: Highscore online check sometimes went into an endless loop if the URL wasn't reachable (circle of death) because of a validation of the return value

Some of you may noticed that the site not just a blank page any more but getting updates almost daily. After a couple of years of no progress I decided it's time to start over. The design is similar to the one when I first created the page but with slight modifications.

Anyway, it's not about the design but about the features that TYPOlight can offer which includes news management, multi-language, comments, forum and displaying/downloading media (images, music, videos). Actually this post is nothing but a test for the news module.
